John Harrison

John Harrison, originally born in Fremont, has lived in California his entire life and still loves everything about it. Although he loves where he resides, he cannot say the same for his governor. Upon asking him how he felt when Schwarzenegger was elected, his response seemed to consist of bitter feelings about the whole situation. "Yes, the other governor was doing a terrible job, but it wasn't worth impeaching him and re-establishing a new governor within a matter of weeks. Especially considering who the choice was for the re-election." Digging deeper into Johns thoughts on government matters, I learned quite a few interesting things about him, such as his interest in the election, and his hopeless desire for Edwards to move forward in the primaries. Among these thoughts on politics, I also became aware of his resentment against the war, he explained to me "We ran in there head first, we never had a plan," and i am sure he is not alone in his beliefs.

On a lighter note, Harrison is deeply interested in the media, his favorite sources include, "The Onion", a parody newspaper, and a web site called "sfgate.com". He loves many of the Journalism classes he has already attended and continues to move forward with the subject. Due to Harrison's fine interest in journalism and writing he has joined The Skyline View's news team, and is also currently working on a chat book of short stories. Before ending this fascinating meeting with Harrison's i had to ask him one more question about his thoughts on college days at skyline, and his reply was simply this, " Skyline is where you choose your life path."

Nice job getting some direct quotes from John. You guys covered a lot of ground, while at the same time you stuck somewhat to a theme (politics). I noticed your good use of appositives, too.
